Three Arch Bay Project

The Three Arched Bay project is a consummate example of coastal-California living — a home designed not around decoration, but around feeling.
01 Entry
It’s a place where architecture, materiality, and memory meet: expansive windows frame ocean views; soft woven textiles and weather-bleached woods evoke salt air and sunshine; open floor plans invite flow, conversation, and light. It is a home that breathes with the rhythm of the coast: relaxed, luminous, and intimately coastal.
02 Living Room
In the heart of the home, the great room unfolds as a bright, expansive living canvas. A panoramic window wall draws the eye outward toward the surf and horizon, flooding the interior with natural light that shifts through the day. White shiplap detailing and crisp, white walls elevate the feeling of air and openness, while linen sofas, soft-toned rugs, and driftwood-toned accents create a soft, lived-in warmth.
Here, the design speaks softly. Nothing loud or ostentatious, yet every element holds intention. Light becomes texture; space becomes sanctuary. The room invites lingering conversation, relaxed afternoons, and the gentle hum of everyday coastal life.
03 Kitchen
The kitchen remains quietly refined, with pale gray shaker-style cabinetry, a central island with an L-shaped bar, and white countertops that maintain visual clarity and calm. Smoked glass pendants hover above the bar, offering soft illumination that complements the shifting daylight. Wood barstools with leather seating lend warmth and tactility — grounding the kitchen in both comfort and craftsmanship.
Though open-concept, the kitchen feels intimate. It’s practical enough for daily family breakfasts, yet polished enough to host effortless coastal dinners under soft light. This balance between function and aesthetic subtlety makes the space feel both real and elevated — a hallmark of Pure Salt’s design identity.
04 Dining
Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area carries the same pre-meditated ease. A simple wood table surrounded by woven-textile chairs and topped with a wicker pendant embodies a quietly coastal aesthetic. Plants and greenery are placed with purpose — bringing life, texture, and softness to the clean architecture.
05 Bedrooms
Bedrooms in the Three Arch Bay home are designed as havens — peaceful, light-filled, and textured with nature. The primary bedroom, awash in neutral tones and softened by natural linens, woven rugs, and a white oak bed, feels restful and intimately connected to the calm of the nearby sea.
Shiplap-lined walls and ceilings amplify the brightness and scale of the rooms, while carefully chosen nightstands, subtle lighting, and minimal styling ensure that each bedroom is about rest, not show. The result is sanctuary: a place where the salt air and sound of waves feel part of the design, not just a backdrop.
06 Outdoor
Outside and between rooms, the Laguna Beach home extends its coastal serenity. Flagstone patios, airy porches, and thoughtfully integrated landscaping offer breathing room between architecture and nature. Half-glass doors, windows with sweeping views, and covered patios with shingled exterior textures evoke the charm of a beach cottage reimagined for modern living.
Every threshold — from living room to patio, kitchen to courtyard — feels intentional. Natural materials, soft tones, and filtered light allow the indoor and outdoor worlds to meld, creating a lifestyle rooted in the rhythm of coastal days and breezy evenings.
