Located in the iconic Port Streets neighborhood of Newport Beach, our Newport Harbor Project exudes casual comfort and rich warmth from every room. This home is a refined synthesis of classic coastal ease and understated elegance designed to feel warm, airy, and timeless. With natural materials, soft textures, and an intuitive layout, this project embodies our signature aesthetic: calm neutral palettes, thoughtfully layered design, and a harmonious blend of functionality and beauty.
01 Living Room
The living area welcomes you with soft natural light, gentle earth-toned fabrics, and layered textures that feel both airy and grounded. Furniture is curated with intention: linen-covered seating, woven rugs underfoot, and organic wood accents bring calmness and cohesion. It’s a room designed for real life: relaxed mornings, quiet afternoons, gatherings with friends
The room’s sense of ease and comfort feels quintessentially coastal-Californian—a place where the outside world softens and home takes center stage.
02 Kitchen
At the core of the home, the kitchen is designed as both a functional workspace and a design statement. This open concept space features statement materials like high contrast marble counters and backsplash, tongue and groove millwork, the area becomes a natural stage for daily meals, family gatherings, or intimate dinners.
Soft upholstery, natural light, and minimal styling create corners that feel warm, lived-in, and thoughtfully considered. These are the in-between spaces: low-key but essential, gentle pockets of calm within daily life. Here, routine tasks are transformed into moments of calm—the kitchen becomes the hearth of home life, and meals are elevated into shared rituals
03 Dining Room
The more formal dining space still feels relaxed and inviting with comfy chairs for prolonged gathering, unique lighting to really set the mood, and subtle architectural features that add interest.
04 Primary Suite
The primary bedroom is the epitome of relaxation and serenity, with a clean yet cozy palette and abundance of neutral layers from the kilim rug, to the linen bedding and drapery, to our signature pillow stack. The result is a space that feels intimate and serene, substantial yet soft, minimal yet deeply comfortable. It’s a room where the home’s overarching design language reaches a quiet, personal peak, setting the tone for rest and renewal.
05 Kid Rooms
With three kids, each bedroom feels unique and personal to their identities, but with common elements throughout—a statement bed, functional furnishings, and charming details that speak to their individual styles. Each room is thoughtfully simple yet elevated, able to grow with each child as they mature and refine their tastes.
06 Outdoors
Outdoor areas, and transition spaces are treated as extensions of the interior, bridging indoor comfort and additional living space outside. Natural materials, ambient furnishings, and soft layered textiles help blur the boundary between indoors and out, creating spaces perfect for entertaining, relaxed mornings, or quiet evenings under soft light. This indoor-outdoor harmony is central to the coastal-inspired ethos of the project, and makes the outdoor spaces feel comfortable and welcoming for every instance.
