A Year of Attention: Leigh’s 2026 Letter
From starting small to dreaming big—Leigh shares what ten years of Pure Salt have meant and what’s next for 2026.
A new year always feels like a deep breath.
Not the rushed kind you take between meetings or to-do lists, but the kind where you pause long enough to ask yourself where you are and where you’re headed. This year, that pause feels especially meaningful.
We’re stepping into our tenth year as a business. Ten years of learning, building, missteps, wins, late nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of belief. If you had told me when we started that this is what a decade of design looks like—opening a new showroom, launching international projects, and dreaming even bigger dreams—I’m not sure I could have seen all this coming. It's been so much more than anything I expected.
The year ahead feels full in the best way. A new store opening that we’ve been hustling to bring to life. Projects that have lived on whiteboards, in notebooks, and in the back of our minds, finally ready to take shape. Milestones worth celebrating, but also worth honoring for the work it took to reach them.
Instead of resolutions this year, I’m setting an intention. One word that keeps returning to me: attention.
Attention to detail—the small things that elevate the work from good to meaningful. The thoughtful choices, the extra care, the finishing touches that often go unnoticed but are always felt.
Attention to family—both the one I go home to and the one we’ve built through this business. Making space for presence, for real conversations, for showing up fully instead of halfway distracted.
And attention to finishing. Long-term work deserves to be completed with as much care as it was started. This is a year of closing loops, honoring commitments, and seeing ideas through to their natural conclusion.
Attention is a form of respect. For the work. For the people. For the time we’re given.
As we move into this next chapter, I feel deeply grateful—to our team, our community, and everyone who has supported us along the way. Thank you for being part of the story so far. I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead and grounded by what’s already been built.
Here’s to a new year of attention, focus, and meaningful progress.
With gratitude and excitement,

Leigh Lincoln
